The radioactive element treating agent is prepared by compounding an oxidizing agent and an adsorbent, hydroxyl free radicals and high-valence iron-aluminum-based compounds are generated through the synergistic effect of the adsorbent and the oxidizing agent, uranium in wastewater and main radioactive elements such as cesium and thorium form complex substances, then the complex substances are adsorbed through the adsorbent, the radioactive elements and heavy metal ions in water are rapidly purified, and deep purification of radioactive elements is realized. 本发明属于放射性废水处理技术领域,具体涉及一种放射性元素处理剂及其使用方法。采用氧化剂和吸附剂复配的组成，通过吸附剂与氧化剂的协同作用产生羟基自由基和高价铁铝基化合物，使废水中的铀与主要放射性元素铯、钍等形成的络合态物质，再经由吸附剂进行吸附，从而快速净化水中的放射性元素、重金属离子，实现放射性元素的深度净化。
