Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To provide an arm-mounted type portable radio which is excellent in a mounting property onto an arm and in a design and by which a report by a vibration can be transmitted surely to a user. CONSTITUTION: An arm-mounted type portable radio R is provided with a body case 1 which houses a receiver 102, with a band which is used to mount and attach the body case 1 on and to an arm and with a vibration generation means 9 which is housed inside the body case 1 and in which a receiving operation by the receiver 102 is reported by a vibration. The vibration generation means 9 is housed near a sidewall on the side of any one direction of the arm direction of the case body 1 in an arm mounted state.
