Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a high-grade diesel engine body casting and a manufacturing method thereof. The high-grade diesel engine body casting comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10-30% of high-purity pig iron, 30-60% of recycled vermicular iron and 30-60% of low-sulphur waste steel; according to the sulphur content of base iron, 0.25-0.35% of an Elkine CompactMag vermiculizer is added; 0.25-0.35% of an Elkine Barinoc inoculant is added; and vermicularizing treatment and attached test block and body inspection are carried out to obtain a qualified casting meeting high-strength performance indexes. The invention discloses a formula adopting a special process and a manufacturing method, so that the strength and compactness of the casting are improved; and scrap caused by leakage of the casting is reduced.
