Inkjet printer

The invention provides an inkjet printer which suppresses floating of a recording medium with a simpler structure. A printer (100) is provided with: a platen (16) having a placement surface (16P) on which a recording medium (5) is placed; and a suppressing member (70) which is provided so as to be slidable in the main scanning direction (Y) with respect to the platen, and which suppresses the floating of the recording medium placed on the platen. The suppressing member (70) is provided with: a plate-like member (72) having a first plate section (72A) which is positioned above the placement surface (16P) and suppresses the floating of the recording medium, and a second plate section (72B) which extends downward from the end of the first plate section on one side in the sub-scanning direction (X) and which is partially positioned below the placement surface (16P); and a holding member (76) held between the platen and the second plate section (72B), and holding an end portion of the first plate section (72A) on
