The method comprises the steps that a material frame point cloud and a plurality of workpiece point clouds are recognized and obtained; position information of a preset position point of the material frame point cloud and position information of the multiple workpiece point clouds are acquired; and based on the position information of the preset position point of the material frame point cloud and the position information of the multiple workpiece point clouds, the distance between each workpiece and the preset position point of a material frame is calculated, and the workpiece grabbing sequence is determined based on the distance between each workpiece and the preset position point of the material frame, so that the workpieces close to the center position of the material frame can be grabbed preferentially, and the grabbing stability is ensured.
