Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses an AC transmission section transmission limit calculation method for a same-tower parallel line, and the method comprises the steps: evaluating influence factors which affect the transient stability of a power grid, selecting an AC transmission section to be analyzed, and determining an operation mode set which covers main operation conditions which may exist in the operation of the power grid; calculating whether the power grid meets the transient stability criterion after the same-pole N-2 fault, thereby adjusting the AC section power until an AC section critical value reaching the transient stability is found, and finally selecting the minimum critical value under different operation mode sets as the stability-control-free transient stability limit; on the basis of the operation mode corresponding to the stability-control-free transient stability limit, calculating whether the power grid meets the transient stability criterion after the same-pole N-2 fault, so that the alternating-c
