Zusammenfassung:The present subject matter provides a rotating member assembly which is of low-cost and having higher accuracy. The rotation member assembly (100) comprises a rotating member (105) and a sensor member (145). The rotating member (105) comprises a plurality of position members (135) and a missing member region (140) provided on a peripheral surface (130). The sensor member (145) is disposed at a pre-determined gap from the rotating member (105). The rotation member assembly is configured in a way that a ratio (AG1/AG2) of a first air gap (AG1) between the peripheral surface (130) and the sensor member (145) to a second air gap (AG2) between the position members (130) and the sensor member (145) is in range of 3 to 6.
