The invention discloses an electrical system of a hybrid power rail car. The electrical system comprises a main and auxiliary integrated converters of one weight or more than two weights. The main and auxiliary integrated converter comprises a rectification module, a first bridge arm, an intermediate DC link, a traction inversion module, an auxiliary inversion module connected to the intermediate DC link, and an isolation output module connected with the auxiliary inversion module which are connected in sequence. An engine is connected to a generator which is then connected to the rectification module. One end of the power battery is connected between the two serially connected switch tubes of the first bridge arm through the chopper reactor, and the other end of the power battery is in common ground connection with the intermediate DC link.
