Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a branched compound, a preparation method thereof and application of the branched compound in preparation of branched alicyclic resin. The compound (CTA-Br) with the branched structure has a structure as shown in a formula (I), and n in the formula (I) is an integer between 0 and 3; and X1, X2 and X3 are independently selected from Br or H, and at least one of X1, X2 and X3 is Br. The compound simultaneously contains a methacrylate structure and a functional group bromine with chain transfer reaction activity, the structure can keep lasting reaction activity and is copolymerized with a polymer matrix, and no small molecules are left in a reaction system in the chain transfer reaction process. And the branched alicyclic resin obtained by reacting with the alicyclic epoxy light-cured resin as a chain transfer agent has the advantages of favorable curing speed, favorable acid resistance and lower dielectric constant.
