The washing electric appliance is provided with a first ventilation opening communicating an internal space and an external space of the washing electric appliance. The ventilation assembly comprises: a driving part, wherein the driving part comprises a shell, filler and a push rod, the filler is arranged in the shell, and at least part of the push rod is located in the shell; and a gate, wherein the gate is used for being connected with the push rod, when the filler is in a cold contraction state, the gate blocks the first ventilation opening, and when the filler receives heat emitted by the internal space of the washing electric appliance and is in a thermal expansion state, the filler pushes the push rod to move towards the outside of the shell so as to push the gate to open the first ventilation opening.
