The underground cavern group arrangement design method comprises the steps that the thickness of a middle rock wall of a cavern group is obtained; an anchor rod arranged on the middle rock wall is determined according to the thickness of the middle rock wall of the cavern group; early-stage design parameters of the anchor rod is obtained, and a safety coefficient of the middle rock wall is obtained through calculation based on the early-stage design parameters of the anchor rod; and whether the safety coefficient of the middle rock wall meets the standard or not is judged, and the early-stage design parameters of the anchor rod serve as the design parameters of the anchor rod in the cavern group if the safety coefficient of the middle rock wall meets the standard.
