Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a metal wire reinforced aluminum-based composite material and a preparation method thereof. A prefabricated part is arranged in the composite material and is of a structure with metal wires woven or arranged in a frame structure. According to the method, the metal wire woven or arranged prefabricated part serves as a reinforcement body, aluminum alloy serves as matrix alloy, and the composite material is prepared and formed in an extrusion casting mode. The metal wire reinforced aluminum-based composite material has the characteristics of being easy to operate, low in cost and excellent in fracture toughness, and due to the fact that the metal wires are easy to weave or arrange and form, the metal wire reinforced aluminum-based composite material can be suitable for components in complex shapes.
