Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a reactor for producing titanium sponge by a magnesium reduction method. The reactor consists of a flange, a cylinder body and an end socket; the flange is arranged at the upper portion of the cylinder body, and the sealing head is arranged at the lower part of the cylinder body; and the interval between the inner diameter of the flange and the outer diameter of the cylinder body is 1-2 mm, and a welding seam is welded between gaps. When the reactor is welded, firstly, manual bottom sealing welding is adopted, then argon arc welding and groove filling welding are adopted to ensure the welding strength of the reactor, and the welding seam with the gaps of 1-2 mm prevents bursting, so that the safe production of the quality of a titanium sponge product is ensured, the production cost is saved, and the labor intensity of operators is reduced.
