The peritectic steel casting powder is suitable for thick plate steel with the carbon content of 0.08%-0.13% and comprises a base material and a framework material; the base material is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 85+/-2% of a ternary system material, 10+/-1.5% of a fluxing agent and the balance of impurities, and the ternary system material is mainly prepared from CaO, SiO2 and CaF2 and contains a small amount of impurities; and the framework material is C, and the addition amount of the C is 3+/-0.5% of the total weight of the base material. In the ternary system material, in percentage by weight, the content of CaF2 is 20+/-2%, and CaO/SiO2 is 1.12-1.13.
