The invention provides application of tiamulin in preparation of a chlamydia abortus inhibitor and the tiamulin-containing chlamydia abortus inhibitor, which belong to the technical field of anti-chlamydia drugs. The tiamulin with the structure shown in the formula I is applied to preparation of a chlamydia abortus inhibitor or a medicine for inhibiting chlamydia abortus.
