The invention relates to an electric motor (1) which is designed as an internal rotor, comprising a laminated stator core (2) and a functional support (24) which is arranged on a rear side (16) that faces away from an output side (8) of the laminated stator core (2). The functional support (24) comprises a plastics housing (26) and connecting elements (50) which are integrated in the plastics housing (26) and protrude therefrom in the axial direction of the laminated stator core (2).
