MODULAR POWER SUPPLY

A mounting base for attaching three or more DC/DC converter units, comprises three or more mounting areas, each having a mechanical connector member for attachment to a complementary mechanical connector member on the converter unit and an electrical connector for attachment to a complementary electrical connector on the converter unit; an electrical conductor attached to the electrical connector in each mounting area and to a main connector on the mounting base for connection to an HV connector of a main HV power source; a cooling channel extending in thermally conductive contact with the mounting regions, and a switching member on the mounting base for at least two mounting regions, the switching member being for connection with a first terminal to an output of the converter unit and having a second terminal for connection to an auxiliary electrical unit.
