The invention relates to a coastal zone information monitoring method and system, and the method comprises the steps: constructing a coastal zone front-end monitoring network system which is composed of a buoy monitoring subsystem, a shore-based station monitoring subsystem and a biological activity monitoring subsystem; obtaining water quality data near a coastal zone and monitoring data of life activities in a coastal zone area and related to ocean data aiming at the coastal zone to be monitored so as to obtain land-sea-air data related to the coastal zone, and then processing the land-sea-air data by the coastal zone monitoring management system to provide comprehensive and accurate monitoring data support for subsequent visualization processing or marine disaster early warning and forecasting processing.
