Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of area lamps, in particular to an area lamp. The area lamp comprises a base, a pair of supporting legs and a lamp main body, wherein the base comprises a first connecting seat, a second connecting seat and two connecting rods, a first groove is defined in the middle of the base, the lamp main body comprises a lamp unfolding mechanism, a connecting rod and a lamp holder, the lamp holder is movably hinged to one end of the connecting rod, the other end of the connecting rod is connected with the lamp unfolding mechanism, the end of the lamp unfolding mechanism is hinged to the second groove of the first connecting seat, when the lamp main body is in the folding configuration, the lamp unfolding mechanism and the connecting rod are folded towards a cavity formed by the second groove and the first groove, and the lamp holders is overturned and folded into the cavity of the first groove in the lower portion of the connecting rod. The area lamp protects the lamp holder, reduces c
