Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a disturbance source rapid positioning method and system based on a waveform correlation coefficient. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a system frequency curve from 5 seconds before a disturbance occurrence moment to 120 seconds after the disturbance occurrence moment; acquiring a main operation power plant and a large load curve in the whole system from 5 seconds before the disturbance occurrence moment to 120 seconds after the disturbance occurrence moment; calculating the correlation between each main operation power plant and the large load and the system frequency; and quickly positioning the position of the operation power plant or the large load with the maximum correlation.
