In a camera image 1103 in which a headlight of an own vehicle is in low beam mode at night, the result obtained by correcting, for the camera image 1103 in which it can be determined that the pedestrian's head is not included in a detection area, an identification area 11030 in order to take the upper body including the pedestrian's head as the identification area is set as an identification area 1104. In a camera image 1105 in which the headlight of the own vehicle is in high beam mode at night, the result obtained by correcting an image 11060 in which the foot of the pedestrian is cut off in ord
