By inhibiting the hsa_circ_0001359, the proliferation of the RWPE-1 can be inhibited. Moreover, the benign prostatic hyperplasia marker exosome hsa_circ_0001359 has expression difference in peripheral blood of healthy people and benign prostatic hyperplasia patients, so that the benign prostatic hyperplasia marker exosome hsa_circ_0001359 can be used as a novel biomarker for detecting benign prostatic hyperplasia. The invention finds that the exosome hsa_circ_0001359 can be used as a biomarker and a drug treatment target for benign prostatic hyperplasia diagnosis for the first time, and provides a new reference index for developing a drug for preventing and treating benign prostatic hyperplasia.
