MAGNETIC FILM

An electrically insulative polyoxide single-layer magnetic film including iron, manganese and zinc is described. The electrically insulative polyoxide single-layer magnetic film has an average thickness greater than about 100 microns and opposing major first and second surfaces. At least one of the first and second surfaces has a first regular pattern of substantially parallel first grooves formed therein.
