Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an illumination device for vehicles, comprising a first light module (1) having a light source (2) and an optical unit (3) for generating a first illumination region (A1), comprising a second light module (4) having a light source (5) and an optical unit (6) for generating a second illumination region (A2), comprising a control unit (10) for controlling the first light module (1) and the second light module (4) so that a larger number of light pixels (L1) is imaged in the first illumination region (A1) than in the second illumination region (A2) with respect to a surface of equal size, wherein the light pixels (L1) of the first light module (1) have a greater illumination intensity than the light pixels (L2) of the second light module (4).
