Carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene foam composite material and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene foam composite material and a preparation method thereof. The composite material is composed of the following components in percentage by mass: 49-97% of polypropylene resin; 1%-10% of thermally expandable microspheres; 1%-35% of carbon fiber; 0.2%-3% of a compatilizer; 0.2%-1% of an antioxidant; and 0.5%-2% of white oil. The preparation method comprises the following steps: by taking heat-expandable microspheres as a foaming agent, adding a certain amount of carbon fibers and other auxiliaries, carrying out twin-screw melt extrusion granulation with the main body material polypropylene resin, and finally, carrying out injection molding to prepare the carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene foam composite material.
