The method comprises the following steps: acquiring hot pot image data acquired by an image acquisition device; inputting the hot pot image data into a hot pot state detection convolutional neural network model for identification to obtain the cooking state of the hot pot; inputting the hot pot image data into a human hand detection convolutional neural network model for identification to obtain a human hand identification result; and controlling the cooking state of the hot pot by adopting a PID control algorithm according to the cooking state of the hot pot and the human hand recognition result. The method automatically controls the output power of the stove to control the cooking state of the hot pot according to the boiling degree of the hot pot and manual operation.
