The method comprises the following steps: acquiring reservoir dam database data, and calculating river connectivity according to the acquired data; carrying out regression analysis on the river connectivity, a vegetation net primary productivity index and a water body biodiversity index, and establishing a multi-term 1ogit regression model between the river connectivity and the two indexes; and inputting a river length and the number of dams into the established regression model, and calculating the water ecological drainage basin quality of a river region.
