Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses application of a cotton protein GhBZR3 and an encoding gene thereof in regulation of growth and development of plants. According to the application, experiments prove that through increasing the height of a cotton plant by inhibiting expression of an in-vivo gene GhBZR3 of cotton, an included angle between a fruiting branch and a main stem decreases, the plant type is more compact, and cotton fibers are lengthened. A research result shows that the GhBZR3 has a very important role in a development process of plant cells. The GhBZR3 can be used for improving the yield and quality of the cotton through regulating and controlling the growth and development of the plant cells as a potential molecular breeding tool. 本发明公开了一种棉花GhBZR3蛋白及其编码基因在调节植物生长发育中的应用。本发明通过实验证明,抑制棉花体内GhBZR3基因表达,使棉花植株高度变高,果枝与主茎夹角变小株型更加紧凑,棉纤维变长。研究结果表明GhBZR3在植物细胞发育的过程中具有非常重要的作用。GhBZR3可以作为一种潜在的分子育种工具,通过调控植物细胞伸长发育,改良棉花的产量和品质。
