The method comprises the steps of collecting working parameter data of a vehicle; determining current load data of the vehicle according to the working parameter data; according to the current load data of the vehicle and a preset load threshold value, determining the overload condition of the vehicle; and executing a speed limiting control strategy matched with the overload condition of the vehicle. The safety problem caused by automobile overload can be avoided. 本申请公开了一种车辆超载处理方法及装置，该方法包括：采集车辆的工作参数数据；根据工作参数数据确定车辆的当前载荷数据；根据车辆的当前载荷数据和预设载荷阈值，确定车辆的超载情况；执行与车辆的超载情况匹配的限速控制策略。本申请可以避免汽车超载产生的安全问题。
