The method comprises the following steps: crushing a plant raw material containing a visible-light response pigment, mixing with absolute ethyl alcohol, and carrying out ultrasonic treatment and evaporation to obtain the visible-light response natural dye. The visible-light response natural dye is formed by mixing natural pigments extracted from various plants in proportion, compared with natural pigments extracted from a single plant, the absorption intensity in the visible-light spectrum range is improved, and the photoelectric conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell prepared from the visible-light response natural dye is also obviously improved.
