The memory access system includes a programmable logic device, a processor, a volatile memory, and a non-volatile memory. The programmable logic device is configured among the processor, the volatile memory and the non-volatile memory. The memory access method comprises the following steps: when the memory access system is started, the programmable logic device stores data stored in the nonvolatile memory into the volatile memory; and accessing, by the processor, data from the volatile memory via the programmable logic device.
