The invention relates to a video authenticity inspection and identification method and system based on time watermark change analysis. The method comprises the following steps: decoding a video file, obtaining a frame rate and a first frame of picture of a video, analyzing the video into each frame of picture, and marking the first frame of picture to obtain position information; storing the same marked area of each frame of picture and the same marked area of the previous frame of picture as images, comparing and judging whether the digital content is changed or not, if the content is not changed, dividing the stored images into one group, and if the content is changed, re-grouping; performing grouping statistics on the images, drawing a visual curve, and performing highlight display on the images with inconsistent number and frame rate in each group; and analyzing and judging whether the video file is edited and modified by clicking abnormal points in the curve graph. According to the invention, video pictu
