The invention provides a method for detecting disodium tetraborate in an oxide removing agent. The method comprises the following steps: (1) pretreating an oxide removing agent sample; (2) preparing a sample test solution; (3) selecting an element detection spectral line; (4) drawing a standard curve; and (5) detecting the sample.
