The invention discloses an air pick for engineering construction. The air pick comprises an air pick body, wherein the air pick body is provided with a drill bit, an air inlet and a handheld ring, the drill bit is arranged below the air pick body, the air inlet is formed in the upper side of the air pick body, and the handheld ring is arranged above the air pick body; a first fixing hoop and a second fixing hoop are additionally arranged and used for dismounting and mounting the air pick body; two hydraulic systems are additionally arranged, and the requirement for changing the operation angle and height of the air pick can be met at the same time; and universal wheels are additionally arranged and can move freely, power systems can be additionally arranged in the universal wheels, and the universal wheels can be controlled through a controller. Compared with traditional air pick holding operation, the safety performance is higher, the stability is higher, and the working intensity of constructors is lowered.
