The invention relates to the field of cable processing, and provides a method for welding a cable and a cable interface. The method comprises the following steps of: pre-assembling and fixing a plurality of core wires and a cable interface provided with a plurality of pins through a pre-assembling clamp, and then electrically connecting and fixing the core wires and the corresponding pins in a channel of the pre-assembling clamp in a hot soldering manner. According to the welding method, the butt joint accuracy of the pins and the core wires is greatly improved, the occurrence probability of short circuit between the core wires is reduced, and the labor intensity of operators can be relieved. The welding method is simple in operation step and short in consumed time, a foundation is provided for achieving automatic welding of the multiple pins and the corresponding core wires, and favorable conditions are created for improving the welding efficiency of the pins and the core wires.
