The method comprises the steps of obtaining an image sequence of a real world and movement information of the electronic equipment; determining a first coordinate pose of a virtual world relative to the real world based on the image sequence and the movement information; based on the image sequence and the first coordinate pose, determining a target plane for placing a preset AR model and illumination information of the real world; and performing combined rendering on the image sequence, the first coordinate pose, the target plane, the illumination information and a preset AR model to obtain an AR world, and displaying the AR world. According to the method and the device, the pose of the preset AR model can be tracked based on the pose change of the electronic equipment, the preset AR model and the real world are fused more truly through the illumination information, the surface dynamic change of the preset
