The invention relates to a method for supplementing water to dilute a concentrated solution of salt lake brine, which comprises the following steps: (1) heating raw material water through a heating mechanism to obtain heated water; (2) filtering the heated water through a filtering mechanism to obtain filtered water; (3) enabling the filtered water to pass through a control mechanism and a plurality of dilution tanks to dilute concentrated return liquids from a plurality of electrodialysis units respectively; and (4) overflowing and discharging the final diluted liquid from the upper part of the last dilution tank.
