TRAMPER STABILIZATION DEVICE AND METHOD

The present invention relates to devices and methods for improving or relating to tremor stabilization, in particular to gyroscopic devices for controlling physiological and pathological tremors, in particular hand tremors, of a body part. We describe a device for reducing the impact of tremor on the human body. The device comprises a wearable element and at least one gyro device mounted or mountable to the wearable element; the gyroscope device includes a gyroscope and a gyroscope housing. The device is characterized in that the at least one gyro device is mounted within the housing by a mount that allows precession of the gyroscope relative to the housing. In one embodiment, the mount includes a hinge, a hinge plate, or a hinge mount on which the gyroscope is mounted; a hinge is mounted thereon for rotation relative to the gyroscope housing.
