Zusammenfassung:	The present application relates to an article (1) comprising a base (2) and a decoration (3) comprising a ceramic pigment (7) and a glaze (8), the base (2) having a first coefficient of thermal expansion, the ceramic pigment (7) having a second coefficient of thermal expansion, the first coefficient of thermal expansion being less than the second coefficient of thermal expansion, the article (1) being characterized by further comprising a thermal expansion gradient damper (4) disposed at least in part between the base (2) and the ceramic pigment (7), the thermal expansion gradient damper (4) having a third coefficient of thermal expansion, the third coefficient of thermal expansion being between the first coefficient of thermal expansion and the second coefficient of thermal expansion.
