The invention relates to a CAN bus optical fiber internet + 10KV feeder line fault automatic processing system and method. A plurality of line breakers are arranged in a 10KV distribution line, each line breaker is connected with an intelligent terminal box, a voltage transformer is arranged between the intelligent terminal box and the distribution line, a lower computer and a CAN bus controller are arranged in each intelligent terminal box, each lower computer is connected with the upper computer through an optical fiber, the CAN bus controllers are connected through CAN bus optical fibers to form a protection system, and the lower computer in each intelligent terminal box is connected with the CAN bus controller. When a short-circuit fault occurs in a line, the CAN bus protection system quickly selects a fault point to cut off fault isolation; and power reconstruction is realized through once superposition of fault points or rapid recovery of power supply in a non-fault area through an optical fiber interco
