According to the key technology, the jet diameter ratio is increased by increasing the number of the spray pipes, the diameter of the direct flow spray pipes and the size of each single water bucket are reduced, and the number of the water buckets is increased. The high-jet-diameter-ratio impulse water turbine has the advantages that under the condition that the unit output is not changed, the unit manufacturing cost is reduced, the rotating wheel incoming flow condition is improved, the rotating wheel section wind resistance is reduced, and the occurrence probability of the phenomena of water bucket cracks and bucket breakage is reduced.
