Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for determining the content of sulfate in a food additive sodium citrate. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing a 24% hydrochloric acid solution, a 250 g/L barium chloride solution, a 30% ethanol solution and a 30% acetic acid solution; then preparing a sulfate standard solution I and a sulfate standard solution II; and drawing a working standard curve according to the turbidity values of the sulfate standard solution II in nine colorimetric tubes, and calculating the content of sulfate according to the turbidity value of a sodium citrate aqueous solution, the working standard curve and the formula c (SO4) = m/M. According to the method, experimental errors caused by human factors in a visual turbidimetry method are reduced, the detection accuracy is improved, the labor intensity is reduced, and a plurality of samples can be measured synchronously.
