| Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a converter protection method which comprises the following steps: adding a fettling material, namely leaving slag in a converter during tapping of the converter, inclining the converter, adding a mixture of raw dolomite and pig iron into the converter as the fettling material, and uniformly paving the fettling material on an iron facing surface of the converter; covering slag: adjusting an angle of the converter to enable the slag in the converter to move and cover the upper layer of the fettling material, and standing to wait for solidification of the fettling material; and splashing slag : after the fettling material is solidified, carrying out slag splashing operation on the molten slag, forming a furnace protection layer containing the fettling material and the molten slag on the iron facing surface of the converter after the slag splashing operation is completed.
