Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for producing high-purity magnesium oxide from high-concentration seawater, which comprises the following steps: drying magnesium chloride hexahydrate separated from the high-concentration seawater by using anticorrosive drying equipment, and introducing steam along with hot air-remove crystal water from the magnesium chloride hexahydrate and generate basic magnesium chloride; and then producing magnesium oxide and hydrochloric acid by using hot air decomposition in an anti-corrosion rotary kiln. By adopting the method, the magnesium oxide is obtained by respectively removing crystal water and hydrogen chloride in magnesium chloride hexahydrate by controlling process parameters, so that the corrosivity of decomposition products can be effectively reduced, the production requirements can be met by adopting the existing anti-corrosion material, and the magnesium oxide with higher purity can be obtained.
