Method for producing high-purity magnesium oxide from high-concentration seawater

The invention discloses a method for producing high-purity magnesium oxide from high-concentration seawater, which comprises the following steps: drying magnesium chloride hexahydrate separated from the high-concentration seawater by using anticorrosive drying equipment, and introducing steam along with hot air-remove crystal water from the magnesium chloride hexahydrate and generate basic magnesium chloride; and then producing magnesium oxide and hydrochloric acid by using hot air decomposition in an anti-corrosion rotary kiln.
