The protective guard comprises a protective guard body, a movable protective guard body, a lifting adjusting device and a conveying device; the protective guard for the steel-making furnace is fixedly installed around the steel-making furnace; the protective guard body is directly and fixedly installed on the ground as a fixed protective guard; and the lifting adjusting device and the conveying device serve as a steel-making material conveying structure and are fixedly installed in the protective guard body. Workers can go in and out through a door of the protective guard, and a ventilation window and a ventilation net are used for guaranteeing air circulation inside and outside the protective guard and lowering the temperature. The building problem of the protective guard is flexibly solved through the movable protective guard body, if a wall for building the protective guard exists on site, the movable protective guard body does not need
