The argon ion passivation method comprises the following steps: cleaning a cutter to be passivated; putting the cutter to be passivated into an ultrasonic cleaning pool for ultrasonic cleaning; removing oil and stains from the surface of the cutter to be passivated; then detecting oil stain cleanliness on the cleaned cutter to be passivated; if the detection result is not qualified, conducting cleaning again; and if the detection result is qualified, putting the cleaned cutter to be passivated into a drying machine to be dried to remove moisture.
