The device comprises a reaction system, an after-treatment system and a control system, the reaction system comprises an engine, a fuel tank A and a fuel tank B, the two fuel tanks are used for spraying ethanol mixed with ferric nitrate and high-reactivity fuel into an engine air cylinder, and gas obtained after reaction of the engine air cylinder passes through the after-treatment system to achieve trapping of the carbon nanotubes. In order to guarantee the purity and the yield of the carbon nano tubes, the temperature in the air cylinder is kept at 800-1000 DEG C, the rotating speed of the engine is set to be 500-1200 r/min, the equivalence ratio is controlled within the range of 0.4-0.67, and the fuel injection advance angle and the EGR rate are set to be minus 40-minus 25 degrees and 10-20% correspondingly.
