The melt protection device comprises a protective gas side frame and a protective gas cover, wherein the protective gas side frame covers a smelting crucible; two ventilation pipes capable of introducing protective gas into the side frame are arranged on the outer wall of the side frame in a penetrating manner; the protective gas cover covers the protective gas side frame; and a ventilation pipe capable of introducing protective gas into the gas cover is arranged on the top of the protective gas cover in a penetrating manner.
