Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a system and method for tracking entry to and exit from an enclosed space. The method for tracking entry to and exit from the enclosed space includes transmitting a first radio signal (110) having an identifier associated with the enclosed space proximate to a portable radio signal tower placed outside the enclosed space. A mobile device (106) receives the first radio signal, measures a first real-time value of the first measurement of received signal strength or quality, and transmits a second radio signal (112) having an identifier and the first real-time value. A base station receives the second radio signal (112), measures a second real-time value of a second measurement of received signal strength or quality, and transmits the data comprising the identifier with the first and second real-time values.
