The method comprises the following steps: pressing transition metal diboride powder serving as a raw material into a cylinder, keeping the temperature and the pressure for 90 minutes at the pressure of 5 GPa and 1600 DEG C by using a cubic press, then cooling and relieving the pressure, taking out a sample, and soaking the sample in acid for 4 hours to 14 days; and taking out the sample after soaking, cleaning with deionized water, and drying to obtain the titanium diboride nano-needle array.
